Weight Loss and Human Growth Hormone

HGH (Human Grown Hormone) is produced in the body’s pituitary gland. This hormone plays a great role in many processes. For example, it is essential for the routine growth of children. Besides it can help to increase energy and to combat the aging process.
Human growth hormone supplement will help you find the energy to get started on a realistic exercise regimen. Having the energy to exercise is a crucial factor after an age. However, as the time passes, the energy becomes the biggest factor in taking command of your life.
If we talk about HGH, we should say a few words about obesity. As a rule obese individuals have low levels of Growth Hormone. This hormone reduces obesity through its actions on lipoprotein lipase (LPL) and hormone sensitive lipase (HSL) which control lipolysis (breakdown of stored triglycerides into free fatty acids) and lipogenesis (fat accumulation).
HGH reduces the uptake of free fatty acids by adipocytes (fat storage cells). It inhibits lipoprotein lipase,  that controls the buildup of triglycerides in fatty tissue. LPL breaks down triglycerides, releasing free fatty acids (FFAs) which may then be taken up by fat cells. Besides Human Growth Hormone encourages the body to use FFAs as an energy source, and to reduce the use of sugars (glucose) and proteins for energy. The impact of HGH in reducing LPL activity is greater in fat deposits within the abdomen than in subcutaneous fat.
The presence of circulating FFA reduces the release of HGH by the pituitary. The elevation of FFA in obese individuals may be partially responsible for the lower levels of HGH evident in obesity. The increased levels of IGF-1 seen in obese individuals have a negative feedback effect on HGH release. Moreover, the high levels of insulin seen in many obese individuals reduce the release of HGH by the pituitary in response to GHRH.
HGH fights the obesity in many ways. This hormone assists the action of HSL, which breaks down stored triglycerides into FFAs and glycerol. This allows the use of FFAs as fuel sources elsewhere in the body. The glycerol portion of the triglyceride must be removed in order to enable FFAs to exit the fat cell. HGH increases the number of receptors on the cell that recognize hormones that stimulate HSL activity. Besides it can prevent the breakdown of messengers in the cell that allow the effects of HSL to occur.
HGH has a direct impact on the number and maturity of fat cells. It stimulates production of pre-fat cells through IGF-1. But what is more important HGH prevents them from maturing.
Moreover, HGH opposes skeletal muscle breakdown during fasting. If an individual is eating very few calories, HGH encourages the use of fat for energy rather than sugar or proteins. And in this case it prevents the breakdown of muscle in order to produce proteins for energy.
No doubt that HGH plays a great role in weight loss. The mechanism of its work is amazing, isn’t it? But HGH will work better, if you combine it with the exercises in the gym and low-fat diet.
